In appreciation of Mondrian, de Kooning, and Pollock, three among many who captured the spirit of the age, visually conveying what authors expressed in writing and musicians communicated through music. Go to the "Thoughts" page to read the rest of the story.
Humanity's journey from life to death and back again through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ was initiated by the first man, Adam, who was made in God’s image, but his rebellion shattered the reflection, leaving him in dire need of forgiveness from his Creator. God was merciful and promised a Savior who would pay the penalty for Adam’s transgression, which is death, so that all of Adam’s descendants who believe could be forgiven.

A vivid scene of Pharaoh’s chariots in pursuit, depicted in bold blues and energetic motion. After ignoring Moses’ warnings and refusing to heed the call to “Let my people go,” the ancient Pharaoh pursued Israel. The God of Israel showed His great power over Egypt’s gods by drowning Pharaoh’s army in the Red Sea and guiding His people across on dry land.
Collage in earth tones featuring Jehoiakim’s knife in the center, over a burning scroll.
The first two people appear translucent as they leave paradise and fade from the scene. See the "Thoughts" page for the thoughts behind the work.
In today's world, many individuals are subtly programmed with misinformation designed to appeal to the baser aspects of human nature. This programming often targets our instinctual desires—the urge to covet what others have, to prioritize self-interest above all else, and to reject or resent any form of authority. These messages are not always overt; they are woven into media, culture, and even social interactions, slowly shaping how people think and behave.
Such influence thrives because it resonates with parts of ourselves that are easier to indulge than resist. The desire to possess, to be right, and to assert independence can feel empowering, but when unchecked, these tendencies contribute to a distorted and divisive worldview. Over time, individuals may become more isolated, mistrustful, and defensive, believing they are acting freely while unknowingly conforming to a deeper narrative rooted in manipulation.
Breaking free from this internalized misinformation requires a rare kind of courage—the courage to confront not just external falsehoods but the lies we have accepted within ourselves. It means questioning our motives, examining our assumptions, and acknowledging the uncomfortable truth that we may have been complicit in our own deception. Only through this self-examination can true clarity, growth, and freedom begin.
