Design and writing tools evolve quickly. Staying current means spending time using them—testing ideas, building projects, and seeing what holds up in practice. This page reflects that process.
What’s Here
Videos, images, and visual examples explore the possibilities of different tools and formats. Each piece demonstrates a particular capability, such as motion, layout, composition, or structure.
Why It Matters
The goal is to turn exploration into useful work. These examples show how different approaches can serve a communication goal. What works is what communicates clearly.
Miss Information
Three silent visual studies created through exploration with AI.
What quietly shapes what we believe? What we read, what we are taught, and what our surroundings reward can become a worldview we defend before we have ever tested it. Contradictory ideas may feel threatening simply because they disturb what has become familiar.
The newspaper symbolizes the many sources of information that contribute to our outlook. Whatever its form, information may be propaganda, shaping convictions we accept as our own. This series explores how outside influence becomes inward conviction—and what it takes to question the lies we have accepted.
The creative process involved both direction and discovery. I brought the concept and artistic judgment; working with AI introduced unexpected possibilities that influenced how the imagery developed. The work emerged through an exchange of intention, exploration, and refinement.
Influence can take hold by appealing to what we already want: possession, approval, power, or the satisfaction of being right. A message that indulges those desires may escape the scrutiny we give to an uncomfortable truth.
At the heart of this study is a lie we may be reluctant to surrender: that we are entitled to remain selfish. Information that excuses our self-interest can become a conviction we fiercely defend. Challenging it threatens more than a familiar worldview—it threatens the permission we have given ourselves to remain unchanged.
Freedom begins with a willingness to examine our own convictions. What have we accepted without testing? What do we resist because it unsettles us? Recognizing our participation in deception opens the possibility of change.

...
Recent life experiences inspired this exploration of AI’s possibilities for caricature and animation. Although I’m neither a cartoonist nor a caricature specialist, curiosity led me to experiment with likeness, exaggeration, and expression.
These images and silent videos developed through extensive prompt writing, refinement in Photoshop, and experimentation with several video platforms. I guided the creative process while remaining open to unexpected possibilities along the way. My aim was to create something playful and charming.

Inspired by a recent life experience, this brief caricature study explores how exaggerated expression and gesture can turn an everyday exchange into visual comedy. Developed through AI generation, Photoshop refinement, and video experimentation, the scene brings two illustrated characters into an animated conversation.
An engaging prompt result suggested a small story worth animating. Exaggerated profiles and close, face-to-face staging make the tension immediately readable, while warm colors and a rustic setting give the scene the feel of an illustrated comedy. Changing expressions bring the exchange to life, leaving the subject of the complaint to the viewer’s imagination.

Time Is The Pressure
A human face embedded in a weathered clock gives expression to the pressure of passing time and the question that returns throughout life: Why are we here? The cartoon style keeps the heavy mood somewhat light, while the underlying urgency remains.
Time is the pressure. Death is the enemy of life. A decision must be made.
“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14, ESV).
Paul’s words echo Isaiah’s calls to arise into the Lord’s light and awaken from the dust of death (Isaiah 60:1; 26:19). Christ gives the awakened person somewhere to turn: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, ESV).
That invitation includes those exhausted by trying to achieve righteousness in their own strength. The promise, expressed by Joel and repeated by Paul, is clear: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13, ESV; see Joel 2:32).
Awake. Come to Christ. Call upon His name. Trust Him for the salvation you cannot achieve yourself.
Engaged in a crisis conversation, two characters from the American Old West stand face-to-face.
