Technology is driving the rapid change in the traditional public school system model. As more students explore the option to learn outside the classroom, the tax-supported system will need to shrink or find a way to be useful beyond preparing students for the workforce. The school system, which established institutionalized socialization in conjunction with education, was not intended to include de facto surrogate parenting in the long run. The government overstepped missional boundaries when it took on parenting responsibilities in religious training by teaching atheism through naturalism.
Statistically, humans are spiritual by nature and susceptible to influence regarding the supernatural. When the government interferes with parenting, it involves itself in instituting a fundamental transformation in the form of government that governs a nation. Statistically, humans are spiritual by nature and susceptible to influence regarding the supernatural. When the government interferes with parenting, it involves itself in instituting a fundamental transformation in the form of government that governs a nation. It is an internal, incremental, hostile takeover. De facto surrogate parenting care is incomplete and capable of producing only co-dependence on an institution. Soviet Union leaders chose to institute atheism in an attempt to enjoy God's creation without giving Him thanks for His providential provision. Was it a good idea?
Mountains of data are available to assess how well institutions address fundamental human needs, such as love, hope, and happiness. Mountains of data are available to assess how well institutions address fundamental human needs, such as love, hope, and happiness. Denying that they exist is the same as denying that God exists, and that is what naturalism does: it denies the spiritual aspect of each human being. Every human being is responsible to our Creator and to each other. Facts actually do matter, and removing the bias against America's founding fathers is a good starting point for encouraging gratitude for the hard-won freedoms that we have.
In today's world, many individuals are subtly programmed with misinformation designed to appeal to the baser aspects of human nature. This programming often targets our instinctual desires—the urge to covet what others have, to prioritize self-interest above all else, and to reject or resent any form of authority. These messages are not always overt; they are woven into media, culture, and even social interactions, slowly shaping how people think and behave.
Such influence thrives because it resonates with parts of ourselves that are easier to indulge than resist. The desire to possess, to be right, and to assert independence can feel empowering, but when unchecked, these tendencies contribute to a distorted and divisive worldview. Over time, individuals may become more isolated, mistrustful, and defensive, believing they are acting freely while unknowingly conforming to a deeper narrative rooted in manipulation.
Breaking free from this internalized misinformation requires a rare kind of courage—the courage to confront not just external falsehoods but the lies we have accepted within ourselves. It means questioning our motives, examining our assumptions, and acknowledging the uncomfortable truth that we may have been complicit in our own deception. Only through this self-examination can true clarity, growth, and freedom begin.
